Let's Do Lunch for Y-Knot
Let's Do Lunch, the business networking group, hosted their "Live Your Dream" luncheon at the YMCA this month. All who attended had a wonderful lunch, wine sampling, and got a chance to participate in the Silent Auction! An interesting venue for the luncheon, carefully selected as the charity benefitting from this event is Y-Knot Abilities Programs with the YMCA. This program brings the YMCA to children and youth with physical disabilities and their families. Y-Knot features activities such as wheelchair basketball and aquatics to get kids off the sidelines and into the game! Building confidence & leadership, there is a place for everyone in this program, to belong and participate to the best of their ability while fostering an atmosphere of access and inclusiveness.
