2008 September > 19th Annual Summer Festival For 18 successful years Fairview Lodge Home for the aged has hosted its legendary Annual Summer Festival to help thank their supporters, raise funds for their programs and offer the neighbourhood a safe enjoyable day for all families. This year was no exception! There was something for everyone at this on-site fair, including a petting zoo, Van Hemmen antique car show, silent auction, white elephant table, crafts, vendors and so much more. What would a fundraiser be without our local Whitby Firefighters' support? The boys manned the BBQ, and supplied all the beverages - mixing fire and water - nobody could have done a better job! This type of event is not possible without the generosity of the staff, volunteers and of course, the supporters of the event. Hope to see you next year!
