2008 September > Whitby Harbour Days

Hundreds of people flooded the Whitby waterfront last month to celebrate Whitby Harbour Days! There were food and gift vendors, live concerts, a fireworks show, and an artist walk with displays of local artists. If you were out early enough before the cruises sold out, the tall ships were waiting at the docks for you. The early birds at the event put their umbrellas to good use, as a bit of rain brought some relief to the heat, but the afternoon brought the sun and fun... It was a wonderful day for all!
