2008 September > 9th Annual Golf for Lakeridge

It is always so heartwarming when someone does something nice for someone else, isn't it? It is pretty great when you can get a group together, all fighting for a greater cause. Imagine the work involved in planning a successful golf tournament for 144 golfers, how many volunteers it takes, donations and PLAYERS! ...For the 9th year running, Lakeridge Health Whitby did benefit from one such tournament, and what a success it was! The team at the beautiful Wooden Sticks Golf Club were the gracious hosts again this year and there were plenty of prizes, food, and a pair of golf shoes for each golfer! If you missed out on this great event, mark your calendars for next year - but register early, it sells out quickly!
