Celebrate with a Free Skate!
The Town of Whitby helped ring in the New Year with a wonderful time for families and friends at Iroquois Park Arena on New Year’s Eve. Guests were invited to join in the festivities including skating on 4 pads, the comedic juggling act of the Ben Show and a chance to check out the Whitby Figure Skating Club demonstrations. Sunflower the Clown was there creating her masterpieces joined by Mr. Patch, who was keeping the kids busy with his magical balloon twisting. The Balloon Bender was also on site, as the balloon figures were under such a huge demand! Kids of all ages enjoyed painting on the ice as well! This FREE annual event, sponsored by the Town of Whitby, is time well spent together, and a wonderful event to add to your family's holiday traditions.
