Cultural Caravan 2010
The Staff and Students at F.M. Heard public school hosted their 9th Annual Cultural Caravan last month. This event is a celebration of diversity bringing together our community, while creating a platform for people from many different cultures to be acknowledged and be proud of their history and identity. This year the theme was “Olympic Caravan – Together through Sport” in honor of the Vancouver Winter Olympics. Each pavilion included a highlight of their country’s top sport and was a true journey of education and friendship for staff, students and guests who participated.
