St. John Fundraiser for Haiti
The Staff and students of Saint John the Evangelist Elementary School in Whitby were so excited to host a pasta dinner at the Royal Canadian Legion last month. Tickets were $5 a person for a complete and delicious dinner, including salad and bread! Guests also enjoyed live entertainment and all proceeds went in support of Haiti relief. The school set out with a goal to raise $2000, which the government will match. They had a lot of help, but makes one realize how truly amazing it is what one or one hundred can accomplish in just one week! Congratulations to the staff and students, and to all who participated!
